returned it to me. After checking with ALL local gunsmiths, they all said
they could not repair/refinish it. S&W declined to even look at it.
Talking to a friend in our local gun club, he recommended I send it to GUNdepot Customs in Hialeah, Florida. He said if anyone could fix it that you could.
Indeed he was correct. The gun is perfect both in operation and in
cosmetics. Given your outstanding repair/refinish of the Walthers, I decided to send
the Kimber Royal Custom .45ACP which was completely rusted closed after
being in the weather over a year. Again, all gunsmiths in the area said it
could not be repaired. I sent it to Kimber, they returned it as
"not repairable". I sent it to you and lo, your work is absolutely beautiful,
the gun is fantastic in appearance. 800 rounds down range without a FTF or
any problem at all. I had long wanted a left handed 1911 but was unable to locate one with any
reasonable price tag. I assembled some parts and pieces for a left handed
1911, sent them to you and you worked your magic and I now have a beautiful
stainless Left Handed 1911 .45ACP. I sincerely appreciate the amount of
work you put into building this gun, and know how many problems you had
because of problems with the parts. A final point, your bills for all of the work were far less than I had
expected to pay. This sentiment is shared by all of our club members who have seen your work.
